One of the core values of Alpha Phi is leadership, and because of this, we are dedicated to pursuing the highest form of womanhood, particularly through leadership. Alpha Phi International has programs to promote the development of leadership skills, which many of our own members have participated in. In addition, members of our chapter have found successful leadership positions throughout campus and in the community.
Educational Leadership Consultants
The Alpha Phi Executive Office offers positions for graduates who have excelled in leadership within their chapter and want to continue their time with Alpha Phi. This year 21 women were chosen to travel across the Nation and Canada to assist other Alpha Phi chapters with recruitment, chapter development, and education among other things. Two of our alumni, Dale and Courtney, were selected for these competitive positions. We are so proud of them and their impact on Alpha Phi at an international level!
Emerging Leaders Institute
The Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) is a five day intensive opportunity for freshman and sophomore women to better define their voice, identify their leadership skills and abilities, and learn how to make practical changes for their chapters and communities. Our sisters Frannie, Elizabeth, Marissa, Lyn, and MJ have all attended and made lifelong memories with Alpha Phis from all over the country. Elizabeth went to ELI this summer and said it was an unforgettable experience.
Opportunities for Scholarships
Each year, Alpha Phi International provides opportunities for Alpha Phis to apply for scholarships that recognize leadership and merit. Alpha Phi holds leadership, scholarship, and potential very highly, and therefore ensures that all Alpha Phis have the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments. Alpha Phi finds pride in assisting sisters in achieving their goals.
